A new social network that allows couples in a long-distance relationship to stay intimate with each other is set to be launched.
The Florida-based start-up, titled FriXion, allows users to remotely control ‘teledildonic’ devices – better known to you and me as sex toys – via the social network.
The project is currently in its beta-testing stage.
‘We are an ambitious start-up with the goal of getting people interacting physically on the internet,’ the company is quoted as saying in the Daily Mail.
‘With this in mind, our beta explores ways that intimacy can be augmented by technology.
‘Using sophisticated haptic teledildonics two or more FriXion users are able to touch each other and even have sex at any distance.’
The company is also trying to adapt a vibrating game controller so that it can be used by frisky site members.
