  I don't think its about you giving them a chance but rather THEY giving you a chance y'know? Why did you end it so speedily and now why do you want to give that person another chance! Really think about what it is that you want before entering another 'thing' because its not fair to them and most importantly you if you aren't sure about what you want/need.
