So I met this boy and I didn't think much of it but he seemed pretty keen, we have been texting quite a bit with him seeming to carry the conversation. We were talking and he said about how he is shy and wouldn't be comfortable meeting in front of his friends or kissing in front of people. Is he embarrassed by me or just shy???

Hi, I dont know this certain person but if he reallyis shy then kissing in public for a shy person can be a really big deal...maybe hes never kissed anyone before so when he gets more confident and you have done it a few times he might be more inclined to kiss you in public. Also he may not want to meet in front of his friends as he just wants to get to know you to start with. I wouldnt say he was embarresed by you hun as hes texting you alot. Give the guy a chance. :)
Hey ! , to be honest as you have just said you have just began talking to this guy so its no shock he doesn't yet feel like he could meet you in front of his friends , boys aren't as sharing as girls , and tend to keep there going ons to themselves until they feel really prepared to share it with the world ,I so don't worry about it I would say its just boys being boys but however if your relationship continues to progress and he still unwilling to share you with friends - be weary because I think if a guy really likes you , he would be more than willing to share you with the world. With the whole kissing situation , some people just find it hard to be intimate in public in that sense he may be shy. But Good Luck ! This is could be a new relationship so don't comprise too much , otherwise you could regret it the long term.
