Hi, I have been with my fiancé for nearly 8 years. We hav a 2 year old and a 3 month old. I am so fed up! I am so unhappy with him for so many different reasons but I don't want to split up because of our children. I just don't know what to do. I am unhappy because he never wants to go anywhere (he drives I don't) he will only go to his moms because she lives over the road but I hate it there as we hav been there every weekend for a year. He also is hardly interested in the children I hav to shout at him to get him to play with the 2 year old or pick up the crying 3 month old. We go out every now and then of an evening and I just feel bored of everything he says. I feel so mean saying that but it's true, we always had such a laugh but the past year hav been so dull and boring. Money is really tight aswell and it seems he has money to buy stuff he doesn't need for his car and whatever. I guess I kno I don't want to be with him and actually I will contradict myself and say he might be better with the children if we split, I think I don't want to split because of how much it will hurt him and how upset he will be. I don't deal we'll with feeling sorry for people. This is affecting me really bad I am very snappy and short tempered all the time and just feel very low. Oh and i dont kno if its my sex drive or if i'm not attracted to hom anymore but we havent had sex for about 6 months. Any advise is appreciated xxx

Hi, have you tried imagining what it will be like if you do split? I don't mean moment immediately after making the decision, but once you have started to make the changes. There are lots of articles on this other part of ?this site? which talk about it: http://theparentconnection.org.uk/articles/what-to-keep-in-mind-when-separating. Maybe it would help you be clearer on how you'd feel about it.
