    Dear bigmama
I am sorry you are having such a hard time - can I suggest you put your issue up on the site again as a new post rather than a comment, you will probably get much more response and support from the site community if you do that. Good luck with the way forward.

My husband cheated on me for 18 years. I found out just after my 56th birthday. Its 4 years on and whilst we're together and plan to stay together and lead fruitful lives, I have visitations and it can be overwhelming. I believe he is basically a good person which, I think, makes it very hard to accept that he could inflict so much pain in the first place.

    Dear Anonymous
Unfortunately your post hasn't come through (see above) - would you like to post again and hopefully we can help with your issue? Talk to you soon.

Sorry it's so long. I haven't talked to very many people about this because I'm so ashamed of myself. I'd prefer to hear from someone who was able to save a relationship after someone cheated.
