Making a Commitment

i'm due to be married in december. my best friend is a guy who i have known longer than my fiance. we hang out a couple of times a week and always have a laugh and joke together. before i got with my fiance he used to spend a lot of time here. we met up today for our usual coffee and gossip and he told me he wants me to break up with my fiance. he said i always seem happier when its just me and him and he said he's liked me for a long time, just hasn't known how to say it. i'm 28 and he's 19 but neither of us has issues with the age gap. i just feel its about time i settled down and started a family. i cant ask him to do that while he's so young though and i dont have long left if i want to start a family due to medications i have to take. i dont know what to do. together they make the perfect guy but i dont know which one to choose. i love my fiance but he has increasingly been getting on my nerves just lately. he spends the majority of his time on the xbox and i like to go out and do things.

If you are getting married in December this needs sorting out fairly urgently! You don't say whether you love either of these guys, does sound like your fiance is the "safe bet" that will help you settle down and have a family, while the young guy is the excitement! You really need to talk honestly to your fiance about your relationship and your concerns, can the things that worry you about him be resolved through compromise etc, or would it be better to break it off - being 28 and wanting a family is not a good reason to get married, it should only be because you want to spend the rest of your life with him! Good luck, hope you can talk to your fiance and sort things out.
