Dump me for internet looking or not?

My girlfriend recently split up with me as I was looking at pictures of girls on the internet. I was fantasising about the pictures and I responded only to sites that I knew were not real for fun and to get photos of girls.

I knew it was not real but I enjoyed the pictures.

I am now paying the price for my stupidity.

My problem is I think what I was doing is similar to reading porno and my ex's take on it is that I was looking for someone else and she could never trust me and what was I doing and was I looking for a new partner and was I in contact with real people when I wasn't.

Other details

My ex has a facebook account that I have never seen. She has been kissed in a nightclub and told me that the guy forced himself on her and even her best friend says she does not know how to get rid of suitors claiming she does not want to be rude...

My ex is gorgeous and has 2 kids. I am 42 and she is 30. I am spearating and she has been there for me all through the separation. She just told me now that she gave up everything for me but I was never that sure that she was committed to us. She has said that I have hurt her so much as I believe she thought I was emailing people but I wasnt.

I am embarrassed to ask my friends as I dont believe people will believe me when I say I was not in touch with anyone or had any direct contact with people on sites.

We have had many fights but we have always wanted to be together and we came through some rough times and really enjoyed good times. I love her two boys dearly and would do the best for them always from dropping them to school.

I did view girls on the net

I did respond to beautiful girls pictures and tell them they were gorgeous knowing these were scams and probably writing to a man trying to scam money out of me.

I cant prove this.

Can you say she should dump me or not?

   I have been the same position as your gf my bf was loking at woman. i can only tell you how it made me feeland maybe you will have a better understanding

   no matter inoccent you may think it is you have broken her trust  it made me fell like he was lokking for something better that i wasnt giving him something he needed or he was looking for a way out tI went into self hating mode  i thought am i  too fat  ugly funny enough. This really knocked myself confidents

   i also hated  he would risk everything ( i was 6 months pregant)   it made me feel, me and my childs life ment  nothing to him.

   You need to talk to her and maybe et some outside help  and try and reasure her that your willing to make things work

    first of all did you tell your girlfriend that you were doing this or hide it?. if that is the case that is the worse part and most part while she dosent belive you that you were not looking for more. just enjoying the imagery but you kept in mind it was fantasy and there was a line yes?
